■ PECORA "Quadrad"

The weight of Silver 925 is driven into the ground.

Simply thread it through the shoelace holes, and a solid block of Silver 925 is firmly secured to the instep. Whether it's chunky sneakers, fashionable work boots, or a pair of shoes that are spoken of in the context of luxury streetwear, it instantly elevates their style.

Two grams of silver are condensed into an 11mm square.

It's not aluminum or brass; it's Silver 925. The moment you pick it up, you can feel the difference in quality in your fingertips.

Whether you make one the main focus, arrange them at equal intervals, or scatter them randomly, each hall will create its own unique chaos.

Quadrad: A coined word meaning "square."

By stripping away all unnecessary elements and embracing ultimate universality, PECORA has added its own unique interpretation, elevating it to architecture that can be worn.

Because these are handcrafted by Japanese artisans, the number that can be produced each month is limited. If you're interested in a particular color, please order early.

Up close, it looks like a sculpture; from a distance, it looks like a square.

■ Serene beauty of form

The discipline of straight lines and the sensuality of curves

From the front, it appears to be a perfect square, but the moment you trace the edge with your finger, that impression is quietly subverted. The four sides are slightly tapered inward, and the edges, which should be flat, form a graceful arc. This mathematically calculated "waistline" is the heart of Quadrad's aesthetic beauty.

When light shines directly from above, the four corners shine sharply.

When light shines from an angle, a shadow falls in the valley of the waist, bringing out its three-dimensional form.

A mirrored surface that reflects light and a mat that absorbs darkness—the boundary between them flashes with light at your feet.

The surfaces have a mirror finish that sharply reflects light, while the carved contours have a matte finish that absorbs light. The juxtaposition of these two textures creates an incredible sense of depth within the 11mm square.

And then there's the edge—the place the craftsmen were most obsessed with. The rise of the corners, calculated down to the millimeter, creates rays of light with every step, changing its appearance depending on the viewing distance. That is the living brilliance of Quadrad.

■ Material & Finish

The base is all Silver 925 (sterling silver), but simply changing the finish gives the same shape a completely different look.

Solid Silver

A return to the origins of silver as a material

With no coating whatsoever, the density and hardness of the Silver 925 itself bring out the sharpest reflection of the mirror finish. The contrast of light and shadow created by the Quadrad's "waist" is most vividly apparent in this solid silver.

The moment you pick it up, you realize it's different from aluminum or brass; 2 grams of silver are condensed into an 11mm square.

This density instantly conveys a difference in quality the moment you pick it up; it's fundamentally different from cheap studs that look the same.

The dark shadows that settle in the valleys further accentuate the three-dimensionality of the sculpture.

This is the aging process caused by sulfurization. The ridges retain their shine, while shadows accumulate in the depths of the curves. The edges are worn down, and small scratches are etched into them. These scratches become proof of the time it has been worn. This is the aging process that only Solid Silver possesses.

Royal Gold

A golden light is cast upon the density of silver.

Made with a 925 sterling silver base and coated with a thick 18K gold finish.

This is fundamentally different from brass-based gold plating.

The hard, lustrous shine created by the density of precious metals—you'll notice the difference the moment you hold it in your hand. The satin-like texture that softly catches the light further enhances the contours of the Quadrad.

⚠️ Precautions regarding coating

The coating may gradually thin due to friction with the shoelaces, exposing the silver color of the base metal. Please enjoy this as part of the aging process.

Phantom Black

A triple-layered darkness where gold is hidden beneath the black.

The black luster comes from the rare metal ruthenium, giving it the metallic sheen it possesses.

The coating may be damaged by strong friction or impact. Please handle with care. If damage occurs, repair and recoating are available for a fee. Please contact us for details.

■ Care & Maintenance

Storage Storage

Direct contact with other metal objects can cause damage or scratches to the coating; it is recommended to store it wrapped in a soft cloth or bag.

Store in a place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.
If seawater or sweat gets on it, wipe it off with a dry cloth immediately.

If you will not be wearing it for an extended period, wipe it gently with a soft cloth before storing it.

Finish Care Care by finish

Solid Silver — Its shine can be restored by polishing.

Uncoated 925 silver can be restored to its mirror-like shine by gently polishing it with a soft silver polishing cloth. However, polishing too hard will wear away the fine details of the design, so polish gently and quickly.

Royal Gold / Phantom Black — No polishing

Using an abrasive cloth on the coated surface will cause the coating to peel off. Only wipe away dirt with a dry, soft cloth.

Be careful of contact with alcohol, solvents, bleach, and de-icing agents (salt). If contact occurs, wipe it off immediately.
Do not put into an ultrasonic cleaner (the coating will peel off).
Do not wash with water.

Re-coating is available for a fee (※Special black coatings require individual assessment).

Wearing Notes Points to note when wearing

Please attach and remove slowly.

When threading or unthreading shoelaces, loosen them to some extent and avoid applying excessive force.

Because it's locked in place by the tension of the shoelaces, it won't fall off during normal walking. This secure structure is why you can wear it on your feet for 18,800 yen.

Be careful of repeated contact with hard materials such as bicycle pedals and escalator steps.
It is recommended to remove them in situations where rain or water exposure is expected.
Remove them during strenuous exercise or situations with frequent contact.

Wiping it lightly with a soft cloth after use before storing it will minimize any changes in texture.

Even the changes that occur over time are revived by the hands of skilled craftsmen.

We offer repair and re-installation services for all products for a fee, and we have a maintenance system in place to ensure you can enjoy your products for a long time.
